 I am a director of NewMedia Counsellors, one of the UK's leading specialists in social media training and communication skills.
Organisations are starting to use social media in their internal, external and change communications and for crisis management. We will share best practice, help you monitor opinions, mentor your senior managers and guide you on how to avoid a digital crisis.

I have a background of journalism, corporate communications and digital communications experience and I am a specialist in corporate websites and online communication.
I was a journalist and worked in corporate communications in the chemical and nuclear industries for 15 years, as a senior press officer with BNFL, operators of the Sellafield reprocessing plant, and with ICI at its corporate headquarters in London. During my career I have run internal and community programmes, crisis programmes and have been a day to day spokeman for major companies at FTSE 100 level.
I am keenly interested in how social media is fast becoming a part of the marketing mix and a key influencer on corporate reputation and have developed expertise in all aspects, currently managing a Facebook presence for several client businesses.
