Sue Solomons
Internal communication consultant and Master Practitioner of NLP

Finding NLP, for me, was a bit like remembering all the things that I knew when I was a little girl. As children we make fantastically light work of many challenges before we’ve even noticed the obstacles, way before we’ve picked up limiting beliefs about ourselves and what we can achieve. It’s so sensible that you knew you knew it all along! So what is it?

NLP (that’s Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a methodology for thinking more effectively and communicating more effectively with other people. The clues are in the name. Neuro – from the way we transmit thought processes which show up in our behaviour. Linguistic – for the language we use. Programming – for the thought processes and habits which can get you stuck in a groove and how to change them.

Using NLP opens up all kinds of possibilities. As a Master Practitioner, I use NLP with great success as a coach for communications people. As a communication consultant, the advantages range from building more empowering relationships at work, to helping communication teams act confidently to overcome obstacles and achieve their best results.

So often when we manage very busy teams we neglect our own development. Over many years Helena Memory has reminded me of how important it is to keep stimulated, networked and challenged, and Hedron’s Leaders Network has been a great way to achieve that goal. So I’m very proud now to be associated with Hedron.
